Meeting Emery
We did get to see Emery in the hospital when he came out of the special nursery. We didn't get to touch him or visit very long. I thought he was handsome. Aidan wanted to grab him. He kept pointing at him saying, "Bay-dee." (That is how Aidan says "baby.") When he came home, we really got to love on him. I wanted to hold him as soon as he came in the door! Mommy let me. I am big enough, you know. The first thing I did was give him an anaconda squeeze. Mommy said that was a little too rough, but I was just so excited! He is so handsome! Aidan kept kissing him and kissing him. Then Aidan started bringing his stuffed animals to come give Emery kisses. We are so happy to have our new little brother home. I asked Mommy and Daddy if we were going to keep him. Daddy asked me if I thought we should. I said, "Yes!" Mommy told me it isn't optional. Once someone is in your family, they're in- like it or not. I like it, though. I'm going to go give Emery more kisses and sing "You Are My Sunshine" again. - Imogene
Coming Home
Even with my slow start, I only stayed at the hospital for one extra day. I spent two days in the NICU and two days in a room with Mommy. I was very happy to leave the hospital. The nurses were nice to me, but I was very tired of being poked at. I weighed 6 lbs. 4 oz. when I left the hospital. I went home in the same outfit Aidan and Imogene went home in! It was comfy. - Emery

Resting
You can see, I like holding onto my CPAP. I like holding onto anything I can get my little hands on. I don't pull, I just hold it. I have been resting well today. Hopefully I will be able to go stay with my Mommy soon. Be praying! - Emery

Swimming
We like swimming. I am getting very good at getting around the pool without anyone's help. Well, my arm floaties help me, but Mommy and Daddy don't! Aidan likes to wear the arm floaties and be by himself, too. But he doesn't really go anywhere. He tries. But he really just floats in one spot. I am on the move! Mommy was surprised by how brave I am! Swimming is lots of fun! It is time for bed, so I have to go! Enjoy the pictures of my swimming adventures! - Imogene
