One!

We had a fun day the day I turned one! I woke up my usual happy self. We then went to eat at Steak and Shake. (I love milkshakes. I love fries. I love hamburgers. Okay, so I love food in general!) Then, we went to Build A Bear. Mommy said it is a family tradition to get a stuffed animal on your first birthday in our family. Who am I to argue? Imogene made an enchanted pony and named her Treehouse Hearts. Aidan made a velvet bear and named him Pola. I made a scruffy puppy and named him Fred. We had a lot of fun! For dinner, Mom made me my absolute favorite food in the world... waffles! Mommy makes these awesome whole wheat waffles that are so nice and fluffy! Imogene said it was the best birthday dinner she had ever eaten. I wonder what kind of traditions we have for second birthdays! - Emery

Paper Dolls

Mom and I played Fashion Show today with my Fancy Nancy paper dolls. It was so much fun. I am great at accessorizing. I even took pictures of my fashion show with my camera Mimaw and Papaw got me for Christmas! I think I may be a fashion photographer when I grow up! Ooh la la! - Imogene

Cow Appreciation Day

At our house, Cow Appreciation Day at Chick-Fil-A is a big deal! It is so much fun! If you don't know, on Cow Appreciation Day, you dress in your cow best. Then you go to Chick-Fil-A, where they give you a free meal for showing your support of their cows. It is a lot of fun! This year, there was also face painting, crafts, a moonwalk, and some performers outside! What can be more fun that eating free chicken while dressed as a cow?! As you can see from our photos, Mom went all out on our outfits. It was Imogene's idea, but Mom made it happen. Aren't we all so cute? - Emery
