Thanksgiving

This year was Aidan's first Thanksgiving! My first Thanksgiving was last year. Aidan didn't eat any of our Thanksgiving meal! I ate all of it! I made cranberry sauce with Daddy! I watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade with Mommy. I really like watching the big baloons and the people dancing! I watched some football with Daddy. He told me that the Packers won! We clapped and yelled for our team! It is fun watching football with Daddy because we get to be loud! For lunch I ate dressing, corn casserole, turkey, and cranberry sauce! Mommy put sweet tea in my sippy cup since it was a holiday! We had so much fun! I really liked Thanksgiving. Aidan just slept the whole time. He'd wake up and Mommy would feed him and he would fall back asleep. Next year he can eat some turkey, too! - Imogene

Banana Girl

I really like to eat bananas. They are very tasty! I like to hold the banana all by myself. I nibble on the peel, too. When I am done with my banana, I lay it down in the floor and Lucas eats it! I think he likes bananas, too. He can't hold the banana like I can, though. Mommy says that I didn't like bananas when I was little. But I sure do like them now! - Imogene

Fun With Friends

My friends came over yesterday and I had so much fun! My friends are getting so big! I remember when they were born and now they are as big as I am, if not bigger! We all played together. Aidan didn't really want to get in the floor and play with us. Mommy said he is too little. I can't wait until he gets bigger so I will have a buddy to play with every day! I think everyone had a really good time! I always like to see my friends. Chylen just had his first birthday. I remember my first birthday! Jackson is about to have his first birthday! Chylen and Jackson can keep up with me now! It was a lot of fun playing with them. Daddy has raisins, so I am going to see if he'll share some with me! - Imogene

Happy Boy!

I am starting to smile at Mommy and Daddy while I'm awake. I am a very happy boy! I also learned how to make happy noises with my mouth. Mommy calls is cooing. I like to talk to Mommy. She seems to understand exactly what I am saying. I'm going to go take a nap! - Aidan

Ooopsy Poopsy!

I had a little accident in my bathtub! I was playing in the tub and I poopied a little bit. I thought it was funny. Daddy got a little upset with me. Mommy thought I was funny. Daddy took me out of the tub and he and Mommy cleaned my mess while I ran around naked. I had fun running around naked! Then Daddy ran me a second bath! How lucky am I? I just might poopy in my bathtub every night! I need to go. Mommy has my sippy cup of milk ready. - Imogene

Dr. Thompson Said I Was Creative!

I went to see Dr. Thompson on Tuesday, too. I had to go for my 18 month check-up. Dr. Thompson said I hit a growth spurt! I weigh 23 pounds. So, I've gained 3 pounds since my 12 month visit. I am 31 inches tall! That is 4 inches taller than I was 6 months ago! I'm getting big. I let Dr. Thompson listen to my heart and look in my ears and mouth without crying. I did cry when he put me on the table to push on my tummy. He put me down and asked me to walk to Mommy. I didn't walk, I ran! I was talking to Dr. Thompson. He said I am a creative little girl. I showed him how I could strap my lizard toy into my shoe. Mommy told him how I carried Daddy's picture around last Thursday after Daddy left to go to class. Daddy left last week and I was so upset. I cried for almost an hour. I really wanted my Daddy! I quit crying, but I was still missing Daddy. I found a picture of Daddy in a photo album. I took the photo out of the album. It was pretty hard to get out. I really had to work at it, but I got it! I showed it to Mommy and told her it was Daddy in the picture. Then, I put the picture in my purse and carried it around all evening. I could just take it out and see Daddy whenever I wanted! I'd look at it, then put it back in my purse and play for a while. Dr. Thompson thought that was very creative of me! He also said that I look great! I have to go, I think the bathroom door is open! - Imogene

Dr. Thompson Said I Look Great!

I went to see Dr. Thompson Tuesday for my two month check-up. I weigh 11 pounds and 8 ounces now! I am 23 inches long. I am getting big. Dr. Thompson said I look great! I do have an unbilical hernia, but the doctor says it will close on its own. He also said I have reflux, but I'm getting enough milk and I'm happy, so Mommy doesn't have to do anything for it. I was a good boy at my appointment. I didn't like Dr. Thompson measuring my head, though. I am getting big! - Aidan

Kitchen Drawer Hideaway

I learned to open the drawers in the kitchen. I can reach the bottom three drawers. I like to play with whisks and the potato masher! Mommy took all the sharp or pointy things out of the drawers and put them in a basket. I can't reach the basket. It really bothers Daddy when I take everything out of the drawers. Mommy doesn't seem to mind though. I like to take everything from the kitchen drawers and spread it out all over the house. Then, I can put my toys in the kitchen drawers. I can also climb into the bottom drawer. If you need a drawer opened, call me! I am very good at it! I can also close drawers. Yep. I am very talented! - Imogene
