Playing Outside and Inside!

Mommy was taking our pictures for Christmas cards and Aidan and I got a chance to play. I liked having my picture taken. Mommy wouldn't let me hold Aidan, though. I tried and she said I shouldn't do that. I played outside. I tried to swing on the big swing on my belly. I thought it would be fun, until my feet came off the ground. I didn't think it was fun after that. It was too scary! We came inside and Mommy tried to take our picture in front of the tree. Aidan kept crying, though. I tried to hug and kiss him to make him stop crying, but he kept crying anyway! I just had to read a book instead. I was reading my book out loud. I really like reading. I sometimes tear pages and get in trouble. When I tear a page in a book, Mommy takes my book away from me for the rest of the day. I tore a page out of one of my board books. Mommy said that takes talent. I guess I am talented. I need to go play now! - Imogene

My First Outside Swing Ride!

I got to swing in the outside swing the other day. It was fun. I liked the wind blowing in my face. Mommy pushed me in the swing and Imogene ran around and played. I think I may become a swinging champion! I'm not sure if there is such a thing, but I think I can create the need for a swinging champion. I'm going to swing in my inside swing, now! - Aidan

I Like To Read!

I really like to read. Mommy says I am a very smart girl. I read my books out loud. I really like to be read to, too. I bring Mommy book after book to read to me. I know how to ask for a book to be read to me. I bring the book to Mommy or Daddy, then I say, "Book. Pweesh." Then they read it to me! I love reading! I love books! I think I'm going to go read right now! - Imogene

I Fell Asleep Eating Cheetos!

Daddy gave me a bog of Cheetos to eat while we were in the car. I really like Cheetos. I think it was only half the bag because I ate they other half the day before. I was enjoying my Cheetos, but I got very tired. I feel asleep while eating my Cheetos. I had cheese all over my face and hands. I accidentally got some on my seat but Mommy is good at cleaning up messes! Mommy picked me up after she took these pictures. When she did, I started licking cheese off my fingers while I was still asleep. She laid me in my bed to continue my nap more comfortably. I got cheese all over my sheets but Mommy is so good at cleaning up messes. I really like Cheetos! - Imogene

Who Wears Pig Tails?

I wear pig tails! Mommy has been fixing my hair some lately. She puts my hair up in pig tails! I don't mind them at all. I brush my teeth while Mommy fixes my hair. I begged and begged the other day for a curler in my hair. Mommy finally put one in! It was so funny! I laughed. Mommy laughed. It made my hair stick up, though. I don't like for Mommy to wear her hair up. Everytime she has is up in a ponytail, I pull it down. The other day she had it pulled up with a pink ponytail holder. I took the ponytail holder out to use as a bracelet. It looked good with my grey dress I was wearing. I like wearing pig tails. Daddy thinks they look cute on me! He calls them my puffs! My hair is getting very long. Daddy washes my hair with little girl shampoo now! It smells like watermelon. I like having my hair washed. I do not like having it rinsed! I wish Daddy could just leave the shampoo in! I'm going to go get my milk now! - Imogene

I Finally Get To Use The Bouncer!

I have finally been able tp play in the bouncer! Imogene hugged me and kissed me, then she let me just sit an play. I bet you can tell from the pictures that I am getting to be a very big boy! Mommy says that I am wearing some of the clothes that Imogene wore this time last year! I love to eat! I also like to talk and smile. When Mommy puts me on my activity mat, I hit at the oys with my hands! I can't quite figure out how to get those fish, but I can hit them and make them swing back and forth. I think I need a nap, now! - Aidan
