Come Share Our Christmas

Daddy & Mommy's stockings. Daddy did such a good job with Mommy's stocking this year. You can see the juices and ginger bears didn't even fit! (Mommy also made pretty small stockings this year.)

The stockings were hung by the chimney with care... in hopes that ... well in hopes that we could dig in soon!

Christmas morning and we are tired! (Though it was 8:00!)

Mommy forgets every year just how to set the camera to take a timed photo.

She got it. And here you have our Christmas morning photo we take every year!

Daddy: Look, Emery! Your very own cup!

Emery:

Daddy: You can drink juice or water or something from it!

Emery:

Daddy: And you'll be such a big boy!

Emery:

Imogene is saying, "Panties?!" in her high shrill voice.

Aidan seems concerned about something, not sure what.

Imogene: What is this?

Mommy: A gold coin.

Imogene: Can I eat it?

Mommy: Yes, it is chocolate.

Imogene: Then it isn't real.

Stocking fun time. They all look so thrilled.

Aidan: What are these?

Momm: Big boy underwear.

Aidan: Big boy underwear?!

Dad read us the Scriptures after we emptied our stockings. We also sang a couple Christmas songs. Aidan really sang along!

Dad is showing the kids the cool features their new kitchen has.

"See guys, here is the ray gun charging station... and over here you'll find a magnetic force field button ... and that is a digital lock picking device..."

Imogene opening a gift. In her mind, I'm sure it went something like this, "I wonder what is in this package. The last 9 were books, but this one could be something else! It could be... oh, it is another book! Wonder if I can convince Dad to read it to me now?"

Family Christmas Fun

No one took pictures while Mimaw and Papaw were at our house the weekend after Christmas. All the grown people forgot. Mommy forgot to take pictures when we went to Granny and Poppa's farm, too. Lucky for us (and you) that Granny took pictures. (Thanks, Granny!) So, now we have smiling happy faces to show you all!

Mimaw and Papaw came to visit and we had so much fun! They brought lots of gifts with them. (Mommy & Daddy said way too many, but I happen to disagree!) We ate at Pasta Bella's, which I happen to love. They make super awesome pizza and they have the biggest cakes you have ever seen in your life! (Mommy eats their gyros. She is not the pizza fan the rest of us are.) They went to church with us on Sunday. Mimaw and Papaw got us all boots! The most fabulous, rocking boots you've ever laid your eyes on are now in our possession! We insist on wearing them daily! Mine are snow boots. Aidan got rain boots, just like Coraline's. Captain Emery got Uggs.

The week after Christmas we drove up to Granny and Poppa's house. It was fun. (Not the drive, but being at their farm.) We went hiking with Poppa. He said we were good hikers. I was the leader. Aidan was a little slower, but Poppa said he never complained! We also got to feed goats and see ducks! It was so fun! On Tuesday, we had family come to see us! Doodah, Aunt Susan, Aunt Beth, Uncle Steve, and Bayleigh came to see us! We had fun with them! We don't get to see them very often.

On Wednesday, we went and saw Marshall, Jessica, Jackson, and Baylor before we went back home. Of course, Mommy forgot to take any pictures! So, no proof, but we had fun with them, too! We went and ate at Sweet Peppers Deli. We haven't been there in a long time! It used to be Mommy & Daddy's favorite when we lived in Ackerman.

We are glad to be back home playing with our new things and old things. We enjoyed our Christmas. (Emery's first at that!) I have to go get Aidan now! He is climbing and I think it should my turn now. - Imogene

Of course, because Mommy ordered a new camera, the old one decided to start working again. Ha! And now that she cancelled her order for the new one, the old one will probably break again! I guess she's willing to take the chance. Here is a picture of me today. I'm getting big & handsome, huh?! - Emery

In The Mail

I just wanted to let all our readers (lookers) know that our new camera is in the mail! It isn't as nice and fancy as the old one, but hopefully it will get our cute faces back on the blog for those of you that are too far away to see our cuteness in person. You'll also be able to be kept abreast of our shenanigans. Hopefully the new camera will be here by Christmas! - Emery, Aidan, & Imogene

Just a quick note to let all our readers (lookers) know that we won't have any photos to put up any time soon because Mommy's camera is broken. She said she isn't sure when it will be fixed/repaired, so I don't know when Godbold Babies will be back. Sorry. - Imogene, Aidan, & Emery
