I've been busy

I have been a very busy girl. I can walk around pretty well now. I seem to fall a lot though. I am still learning. I like to just walk around the room. Yesterday, I fell and bumped my eye again. This morning I fell and hit my cheek. I always have bumps and red spots from falling. But I keep trying. My favorite band, Eisley, put out a new cd. Daddy bought it for me the other day. I really like it. We've been going to school with Daddy during the week. I play in the student lounge with Mommy while Daddy is in class. I can climb up stairs now, too! I can't figure out how to get back down the steps, but I am working on it. I need to go help Daddy open the mail now! - Imogene

The bathroom can get a girl in trouble

One of my favorite places is the bathroom! I love going into the bathroom! There are so many things to play with. But you have to be careful, because the bathroom will get you in trouble. I like to play in the trash cans, but Mommy doesn't like that. I like to play with the toilets, but Daddy doesn't think I should. I like to play under the cabinets, but I get in trouble for that too. I really like to sneak up on people in the shower! It gets my hair all wet when I pull back the curtain, but it is fun! That reminds me, I had my first shower on Saturday. I really liked it. Licking the water from the shower is a fun thing to do. I don't see why they let me drink shower water, but not toilet water. I'm going to go play on my horsey now. - Imogene

A Baby Shower for Sammy

Sunday, the ladies at our church gave a baby shower for Sammy (we call the baby that for now). I had a lot of fun! There were lots of presents to open. I helped open a few. My friend Lily gave me a gift! It was a fun purple pig! Mommy's secret pal got me a Dora doll and Mrs. Carrie got me a pretty bracelet! I had a lot of fun. There was cake, but I ate party mints! No one ever told me how good they were! I tried out the SpongeBob stroller the Upchurch's got for Sammy. It is a lot of fun, too! We got some diapers for Sammy, too. I looked at them... they are really tiny! I don't think I can try those out for Sammy. I had a good time at the baby shower. I really liked the boxes and bows! I need to go organize the burp clothes again! What would Mommy do without my help? - Imogene

Grandparent's Day

I just want to remind all my friends that Grandparent's Day is coming up. I just don't want anyone to miss telling their grandparents how much they love them. So, on September 9th, you better call your grandparents or send them a card to let them know you love them and appreciate the cookies they always let you have. I need to go help Daddy with the dishes now. - Imogene

My Daddy

I love my Daddy. Everyone says I look like him. I hope that is a compliment. I think he is handsome. We have lots of fun together. He is always trying to get me to play X-Box with him. Yesterday I helped him get a touchdown. (I played for him while he was on the phone.) He is amazed at my computer skills. He is so silly sometimes. Daddy has a blog, too. I like to talk on telephones

I like to talk on the phone like Mommy and Daddy do. I really think it is fun. Sometimes I find two phones to talk on at the same time. I just talk and talk to my friends. Sometimes I yell when I am on the phone like Daddy does when he talks to Mr. Marshall. I think I need to go call my friends now. - Imogene
