I'm Eustace Scrubb!

I am Eustace Scrubb the dragon! I like my costume! I don't mind wearing a tail at all! Don't I look cute? I am having so much fun! I need to go trick-or-treating now! Mommy says people are going to give me candy! She said I have to say, "Trick-or-Treat!" She said if I don't say it, people won't know why a dragon is at their door. I really can't say it. "Tick" is about all I've managed to get out. I'm working on it, though, Maybe Daddy can say it for me! I'm going now! Rrraaaarrrr! - Imogene the Dragon

The Pumpkin- After

My pumpkin friend is so cute! I really like him. He is so fun! I love pumpkins! I had so much fun carving my pumpkin! Now I am having fun looking at my pumpkin. Daddy put a candle inside and made him glow! I like saying the word "glow!" Halloween is turning out to be a very fun day! - Imogene

The Pumpkin- During

This is me carving my pumpkin. I liked this part! I liked putting my hands inside the pumpkin! Who knew there was stuff in there? I had fun pulling the guts out of the pumpkin and putting them into a big bowl. I tried to put guts from the bowl into the pumpkin, but apparently that isn't the way it works! I figured out what a pumpkin is. It is a vegetable! You can eat it! I ate some. I didn't like the first bite, so I tried a few more. None of them were very good. After we pulled all the guts out of the pumpkin, me and Mommy dug through the guts to pull out all the seeds. I really like sorting things. Carving a pumpkin ended up being lots of fun! I got to get all messy. I got to taste new things. Andy was so much fun to carve! What do we do with it now, though? - Imogene

The Pumpkin- Before

Daddy brought this pumpkin home for me on Monday. The first picture is of me checking out the pumpkin for the first time. I named my pumpkin Andy. Carving a pumpkin is very boring at first. I didn't like the part where Daddy washed the pumpkin and drew on it. It was so boring! I didn't think I was going to like pumpkin carving. I liked my pumpking before we carved him. I had never really seen a pumpkin before Monday. Pumpkins are neat. I can't quite figure out what it is. Is it a pet? Is it a toy? Is it furniture?- Imogene

Happy Birthday, Poppa!

Tomorrow is our Poppa's birthday! He is really old. He doesn't have any hair anymore! We really like our Poppa. We hope you have a very happy birthday, Poppa! We love you very much. - Imogene and Aidan

Scooby-Doo Marathon

I just thought I would let you know there is a Scooby-Doo marathon on today. I like Scooby-Doo. He is much bigger than my dog. I am getting ready for all our Halloween plans. Me and Daddy are going to do something with my pumpkin. Mommy said we were going to make him a face. I'm not sure how we will do that, I guess Daddy knows how. I am also going to put on my costume and go Trick-or-Treating. Mommy says that I will put on my costume and Daddy will take me to get candy. I think that sounds like a good idea. I really like my costume. I have been trying to wear it for weeks and they are finally going to let me! I'll have to post pictures of me in my costume later! If you will excuse me, there are some crayons that I haven't tasted yet! - Imogene
