Princesses

I got a box of princess costumes for my birthday! I make a lovely princess. I needed a princess friend, so I dressed up my brother. He is a pretty princess like me! He just doesn't follow princess rules very well. He won't have a tea party with me. He wants to play princess ball, or princess cars. I tried to tell him princesses don't do those things. He just doesn't play right sometimes! - Imogene

Fun Facts

Since I do not have a camera to share photos of the kids and the things we do, I figured I'd give fun facts. So look forward to reading a few fun facts about the littles. - Lindsey

My favorite song is "Oh For A Thousand Tongues To Sing." Every time I hear it, I smile and quietly listen. It is soothing. - Emery

My favorite shape is a heart. Shapes are important and we all need a favorite. - Imogene

I like wearing sandals. I like to see my toes with my shoes on. - Aidan

Daddy is 29!

We just wanted to say "Happy Birthday" to our favorite boy, Daddy. He is our hero. He is our dapper man. We love him very, very much! We are very glad to be celebrating his birthday with him! - Imogene, Aidan, and Emery

Not A Baby!

I informed Mom the other day that I am not a baby! (She won't change the name of the blog, though.) I am going to be four years old very, very soon! I'm a big girl now!
I've been trying to talk Mommy into a birthday party. She said she isn't sure yet. (She said she isn't sure if she wants to worry with three parties this summer.) Maybe we'll go to the zoo instead! I just love the zoo.
Mommy thought you might like a link to our Amazon book wishlist and my Kaboodle wishlist again- in case you need it. I don't really need any toys. Between me and the boys, we've got a lot of toys. I love reading. I love getting new books! I pour through them and make Mommy read them again and again. I love art, but markers are now banned from our house- well, that is what Daddy said after Aidan colored on the wall, the play kitchen, the chair, and a bunch of other stuff. (Daddy was so mad!) I don't really need clothes. Mommy makes most of mine for me. I love handmade clothes! I love accessories- hair bows, head bands, fancy pigtail holders, bags, hats, etc. My favorite colors are yellow and pink, now. I love tea parties! I love being fancy.
Amazon Book Wish List- a list of 100 books that I (and my brothers) would like but don't have yet.
My Kaboodle Wish List- a list of things I like.

Stories From The Beach

I ate a lot of sand. It felt nice on my teeth. Mommy was worried about it. She worries about such silly things. - Emery
It is really windy near God's Big Swimming Pool. That's what Dad told me the ocean was. He said it was like a really big swimming pool. I like it there. - Imogene
Isn't this amazing?! It is a jelly fish. I saw it. Dad saw some in the water and we were really disappointed he wouldn't take us to get a closer look. I said, "Dad! I am so disappointed in you not taking me to see the jelly fish!" Mom told us they would burn our skin if they touched us. I still pouted. Maybe it wouldn't touch me. A few yards down the beach, Mom spotted one that had washed up so we could safely see it. Isn't it amazing? I've made Mom show me this picture several times since. - Imogene
I'm having such a good time! Run! Scream! The weather is perfect! The sand is squishy! This is the most fun I've had in my life!!!!- Aidan
Can you believe they went to play without me?! I'll make it there. Slow and steady. Just put one hand in front of the other. Oh, what is this? Mmm. I'll stick that in my mouth! - Emery
I loved the water! When Mom would try to pick me up, I'd kick and squirm to get back down into the water. It was so relaxing to sit and let the waves wash over your chubby legs! - Emery
Our first night at the beach, we ate on the back river, facing the sunset. Dad said, "Look, a dolphin!" We looked and there was a dolphin swimming! A few minutes later, Mom spotted another dolphin. There was a little hoopla as people got up from their tables to walk to the end of the pier to see the dolphin. That's when I spotted something truly amazing! (After all, everyone sees dolphins at the beach!) I yelled, "Look! A bald eagle!" Everyone looked up, I waited for them to be amazed. They laughed. Mom said, "Aidan, that isn't a bald eagle. That is a sea gull. They are EVERYWHERE!" Oh. - Aidan
Are you kidding me, Mom?! No, we don't want to watch a sunset. The sun sets at home! We want to build some more sand castles. We can't do THAT at home! - Aidan
I am very brave! I went all the way out to my knees on my own. With Daddy, I went out all the way to my belly! Once, I even tripped and fell down, going under completely!!! Did that stop me? Oh no! I'm swimming. - Imogene
Run to the water, bravely put your foot in, scream with glee and terror as you run toward safety. That is how to have a good time at the beach. - Aidan

Emery's First Easter

I had a great first Easter! We had church on Good Friday. I slept. Mommy and Daddy gave us Easter baskets on Good Friday. I got a new CD, B is for Bob. It is a Bob Marley Cd. I really like it. I also got a Beatrix Potter book. I got a few little toys and I got a pack of Peeps. I tried one. I didn't think too much about that sweet puff of whatever it was. Mommy made us matching Easter outfits. I didn't like keeping my suspenders on. The big kids got Bibles for Easter. I didn't. It was a nice Easter. I like this holiday! - Emery

A Visitor

We had an interesting visitor this week. Well, we had several visitors, but they were normal, for the most part. Granny and Uncle Bradley came for a visit. We also had Melissa and JJ come for a visit. They brought their miniature horse, J. (Short for Justice.) J spent the night in our backyard! We got to ride J! Imogene did not like it very much. It was much too bumpy for her. I loved riding J! I could have ridden that horse forever! But we had to take turns. He was so cute! We also got to feed him. When he was given his water, he wouldn't drink. Imogene tried to make him drink. Mommy told her this was a perfect example of the expression, "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him drink." Thank you Melissa for bringing J by for us to see and ride! We loved it! - Aidan
