Aidan's Baptism

I am so sorry I am so late getting photos of Aidan's baptism up. I am also sorry I have not updated in a while. Here are pictures of Aidan's baptism. He was baptized on Sunday, February 3 here at our church. I had a lot of fun planning for the baptism. We ordered flowers for the service (blue daisies, white spider mums, and white carnations) and they looked beautiful with the sweet decorative glass plaque his Granny got him. I also had to get a bowl for the water (the church didn't have one) and I put white rose petals in it for the baptism. Aidan's Mimaw and Papaw went with us and bought Aidan's baptism outfit. It was a very cute, classic white one-piece pant suit. We also got him some little white shoes. I couldn't decide on getting shoes or just fluffly socks for him. It seemed silly either way. Marshall Daigre baptized Aidan for us so Adam could participate in the baptism as a father, not as a pastor. We really enjoyed having the Daigre's come over for that. Aidan did very well during the baptism. He did get a little bit fussy, but not because of the water or the service. He just wanted to eat there at the end. We had a really good time with out family and friends celebrating Aidan becoming part of the Church! My family and the Daigres went to eat after the baptism at Old Venice. They have one in Starkville. We ate at the one in Jackson after Imogene's baptism, so Adam wanted to go to Old Venice for sentimental reasons. We all ate very well! Thank you Poppa! Thank you to everyone who made the trip to celebrate with us. - Lindsey

We loved seeing the babies and we had a great time, too.
