Pancakes and Family and Softball

Aunt Susan, Uncle Steve, Cousin Melissa, and Doodah were in Starkville this past weekend. I went to see Melissa play softball. I liked the softball game. They play music at softball games that you can dance to! I danced and danced! I danced with Uncle Steve for a while. I also danced with Aunt Susan. I think the softball fans liked my dancing. You can also yell as loud as you want to! No one tells you to be quite, you can yell anytime you want! It was so much fun! I got to spend time wih Aunt Susan, Uncle Steve, Melissa, and Doodah! They were so happy to see me. I guess they liked seeing Aidan, too. I had fun with them. We ate breakfast at the Starkville Cafe. They have good stuff there. They have little cups of cream, and little containers of jelly, and as many spoons as you need to eat your pancakes! Doodah stayed at my house! I showed him my books and some of my toys. I shared lots of things with him! I like my Doodah! I am glad they were in town, because I had a lot of fun! These pictures are courtesy of Doodah. I need to go read with Daddy now. - Imogene

My sister loves me.

My big sister really loves me. She likes to kiss on me and give me hugs. I don't always like her kissing and hugging me. Sometimes I would like to be left alone. There is a picture of my sister giving me a kiss. I wasn't too happy about that one. My nickname has been passed on. When I was in Mommy's tummy, they called me Sammy. Now I have a bear named Sammy. Imogene has a bear named Billy because that was her nickname. I am getting to be a big boy! I am going to meet some new people tonight. I get to meet Doodah and Melissa and Aunt Susan and Uncle Steve. I am pretty excited. I need to go get ready to meet them. -Aidan

I'm the pretty one

These are pictures of me from yesterday. I got to pick out what shoes to wear. I picked the pink ones. I like them. I don't like putting them on, but I like looking at them. Daddy likes this outfit. Daddy told us it was cool outside yesterday. He said that when he took Lucas out, it was very chilly. He thought light layers would be best for all of us since it was a chilly fall day. It was not chilly yesterday. It was pretty warm. Mommy and me both had on "light layers" and it was pretty hot out! I should have worn shorts. I know I looked pretty, but I felt hot. I think next time we won't listen to Daddy when it comes to the weather. I need to go now, I think Daddy is getting in the shower. I need to make sure he does it right. - Imogene

Growing boys need lots of sleep

I have been growing! I went to the doctor yesterday and I have gotten bigger! I weigh 8 pounds now! Yep, you heard me right. I have gained two pounds since I've been home! I'm quite a little pig! I am 20 inches long now, too. Yes sir, I am an inch and a half taller and two pounds heavier. I am on my way to being a very big boy! I sleep a lot. And I eat a lot! I like to swing in my swing. Dr. Thompson said I was very healthy now! He said I am doing great! Mommy is happy because my cicumcision is healed now. I am happy because I get to eat and sleep as much as I want! - Aidan

Parmesan cheese is yummy!

I ate some parmesan cheese yesterday. I liked it a lot! It was very yummy! It was hard to eat though. I saw Mommy and Daddy put some on their noodles at lunch, and I just had to have some! I got it all over my face. I figured out the best way to eat it is to lick your hand and rub your hand in the parmesan cheese, then you can just lick the cheese off your hand! You may need to click on the picture to see it bigger so you can see all the cheese on me! I like to sit in the rocking chair by myself. It is almost as much fun as rocking on my horse. It is also funny when Mommy or Daddy try to sit on me. I am sitting in the big chair and they don't even see me! I like sitting in the rocking chair with Mommy and Daddy, too! I love rocking! I am going to go eat a biscuit with my Daddy now! - Imogene
